The Editorial Board of Journal of Gender and Multidisciplinary Studies (JGMS) comprises of an Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editors, Review Editors drawn from Nigeria, other African countries and other regions of the world as well as Managing/Desk Editors. The members of the various boards shall be entirely composed of distinguished respectable scholars within the scope of the Journal.

The positions in the editorial board of Journal of Gender and Multidisciplinary Studies (JGMS) are tenured.

All submissions are first evaluated by assigned editorial staff and when relevant, an editorial review board will provide review report on whether the submission is publishable in its current form; not publishable at all; or publishable on condition that some amendments/additions are made. Submissions will be evaluated based on a list of criteria, including originality, currency, objectivity, applicability to the journal’s readership, conformity with the journal format, quality of writing and research.

The Journal's Editors and its editorial review board evaluate manuscripts for their academic content without regard to gender, sexual status, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, etc. The resolution to publish a submission remains wholly with the editorial board.

The Journal editors reserve the right to reject a submitted work without a formal review by the editorial review board should they consider the work not publishable in connection with the journal’s objective.
