Author Guidelines

General Requirements

●        Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

●        Submissions should be written in clear academic English (British or American spelling, used consistently).

●        Authors are responsible for ensuring ethical compliance, originality, and accuracy of content.

Manuscript Format

●        File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

●        Font: Times New Roman, 12-point

●        Line spacing: 1.5

●        Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

●        Page numbers: Bottom-centre

Structure of the Manuscript

Title Page (submitted separately as first page)

●        Title of the article

●        Full name(s) of author(s)

●        Institutional affiliation(s)

●        ORCID iD (where available)

●        Corresponding author’s email address

Submission Preparation Checklist

Main Manuscript (Blinded)

The main manuscript should not contain any author-identifying information and should include:

●        Title of the article

●        Abstract (Between 150–250 words)

●        Keywords (4–6 keywords)

●        Introduction

●        Literature Review

●        Methodology / Materials and Methods

●        Results / Findings

●        Discussion

●        Conclusion and Recommendations

●        References

Abstract and Keywords

●        Abstracts must clearly state the purpose, methodology, key findings, and contribution of the study.

●        Provide 4–6 keywords that reflect the core themes and disciplines of the paper.

Referencing Style

JGMS adopts the ACE-General Reference Style (based on APA 7th Edition)

Key points:

●        In-text citations follow the author–date format.

●        Reference list arranged alphabetically.

●        Where applicable, include publication city and country to contextualise sources.

Authors must ensure consistency and accuracy in all citations.

Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

●        Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and titled clearly.

●        Sources must be acknowledged where applicable.

●        Submit figures in editable format and ensure they are of publication quality.

●        JGMS operates a double-blind peer review system.

●        Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.

●        Editorial decisions include: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

The Editor’s decision is final.
